Caricatures

In my humble opinion, caricatures may be the simplest form of illustrations to do. In studying what you want to draw, you must keep in mind the features that define, identify or makes the subject stand out. Study the whole face and take note of unique features such as the ears, eyes, nose or even the hair. Then simply exaggerate these attributes. Choosing an identifiable face to draw makes the job fairly easy. However, regular or common faces are harder to duplicate. Drawing style is not as critical because often the purpose of the drawing is to satirize a person/s, events or situation.
