Personal Waterloo: The Female Form
Even before, I had difficulty drawing the female form. They always ended up looking masculine. Drawing females is one of my frustrations. You can see some of my initial female drawings below.
I had no desire to learn how to draw females then. All I was interested about was superheroes and robots. But of course as one gets older, you learn to appreciate (and love) the female form. Although they still look a bit masculine, I am slowly learning to draw the curves much more easily as seen below.
Obviously, you can still see many flaws in anatomy, shadings and basically correctly drawing the hands, feet, etc. But those are things best left to be discussed at a later date.
