Another skill I picked up when I was very young.I recall telling stories to my classmates using a small flashlight as illumination, as if we were in a movie theater, with my drawings of Superman. When the Super Anime robots like Voltes V, Daimos and Mazinger Z became very popular (I was in Grade school), I came out with my own generic versions such as Mostan D (sounds like a pain medication now) and Victory Robot. Needless to say, I also made up my own episodic stories. Drawings were patterned from their original Anime counterparts.
However, this skill suffered the same fate as my fascination with cardboard modeling. Although I doodled during classes in high school until college, I never attempted to improve how I draw nor to try and develop a style. I just found it a convenient skill when I needed to do some illustrations for school. When I graduated, I hardly ever drew again.
I think it was March 2006, when I picked up a pen once more to find out if I can still draw. It took a while for my fingers to loosen up and the initial sketches were quite horrible. You can say that this skill has been stunted. Any progress will take a lot of dedication and time on my part. I am not good in color, anatomy, the female form, expressions and action movements. I also lack the initiative (or the drive?) to draw consistently. For now, the most this skill can do for me is to help me visualize how to design and build my models.
