This is the first entry in this blog. The blog name may be a bit intriguing to some. Honestly speaking, I never considered myself an artist. The things that I come up with lack the refinement and mastery that comes with experience and specialization. Always an amateur, I am tormented by varied interests – cardboard modeling, drawing, sculpting, animation, etc. For a long time I buried these urges at the back of my mind, concentrating more on the economic realities of daily life. However, I felt an emptiness, like a question left unanswered. True, it’s a bit too late in the game for a stubborn dinosaur like me. But I guess it’s better than wondering - what if?
The primary purpose for setting up this blog is to serve as a chronicle in the pursuit of these interests. Secondly, this is a venue for amateurs, beginners and hobbyists to share experiences, information and know-how to help improve their skill. In this regard, input from professionals in the different disciplines is welcome and highly appreciated.
I am not a pro nor do I profess to be a guru on the different crafts and hobbies. Just like everyone else, I want to learn and hope to get better.
